I recently got my thesis contract approved, which means I finally have a deadline to go with for my thesis project: October 2019. The project itself will be similar to my bachelor’s. I will continue to research using MAMCR on the FCI, focusing on topics such as validity, consistency in analysis results, besides fundamentally continuing on developing the algorithm in its own.
As of now, I am busy transcribing interviews on participants in the current (new) cohort. The transcripts will be used for a network analysis in order to compare the student’s line of thought on the various items compared to the ‘taxonomy’ Hestenes and Jackson did in 2010 on the distractors/items.
This is all for now. I would like to share the research process more on this website in the next year.
